Monte Vista Christian School is a private, co-educational, selective day and boarding Christian school for young men and women in grades 6 through 12, offering a college-preparatory education in the Christian tradition and context. Founded in 1926, this Morgan Hill area school is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Not only does this Bay Area Christian school offer a rigorous program of academic study, it has one of the top athletic programs in California. This Santa Cruz County school offers football, lacrosse, soccer, track and field, basketball, tennis, cross country, cheer, and more. One of the most exciting aspects of this middle school and high school athletics program is its newly renovated green-turfed field and rubberized, eight-lane all-weather track. This new addition to Mustang Stadium gives more flexibility and allows games and practices to be less dependent upon weather conditions. Student-athletes participating in football, lacrosse, soccer, track and field, and more come from Watsonville, Santa Cruz, Gilroy, and Morgan Hill, making use of Monte Vista’s extensive fleet of buses. These buses not only transport students to and from home, they are used to transport teams to and from sporting events as well.
